Envirofund Revegetation Project Kurth Kiln Picnic Ground March to May  2005.

Grade 5 and 6 of the Hoddles Creek Primary School spent some 4 hours digging, planting, matting, staking, watering and wrapping 400 plants along the Eastern boundary of the North Picnic Ground. Helped by the watchful eyes of some volunteer parents, the teachers, Parks Victoria Ranger Ralph Angelico and members of the Friends group.

Following a Sausage Sizzle and a short lecture on the history of Kurth Kiln, each was presented with a personalised Certificate of the Heritage Envirofund Day activity.
