2010 Bayswater Community Christmas Celebration

Saturday 18 December was the day of the Community Christmas Celebration in Bayswater. The Bayswater Hall again showed its versatile nature as it readily transformed into Santa's Workshop at the North Pole. The kids were marvelous. From the opening "Ihr Kinderlein kommet..." candle parade and the Playgroup "Jingle Bells" to the hectic workshop activities and the sorting of Santa's Mail matching the letters with suitable presents. We heartily sang "Stille Nacht..." and more, accompanied by the Templer Brass Band. It all ended well, with Father Christmas turning up on time to make the presentations.

The evening concluded with friendly gatherings (coffee in hand) around the Gutsle tables

We enjoyed the setting-up and practise-session in the morning and then at 5pm the finished performance. A cross-section of the snapshots we took in that time is shown below.
