TTHA Warrina Wing Official Opening Celebration
The official opening of (and the unveiling of Plaques for) the new Warrina
Complex , the three new Independent Living Units and the Tabulam Family Clinic
of TTHA took place in the Templer Community Chapel in Bayswater on 29 August
2008. Starting at 14:00 with a capacity filled Hall, the Program included:
- Welcome by Dr Irene Bouzo, Ethnic Communities Council of Victoria and
Master of Ceremonies for the day
- Opening Address from Anne-Marie Schleich, Consul General, Federal Republic
of Germany, Melbourne
- Unveiling of Warrina Plaque By the Hon. Chris Pearce MP, Federal Member
for Aston
- Greetings from Heidi Victoria MP, Member for Bayswater
- Unveiling Tabulam Family Clinic Plaque and launching Community Care at
Home by retiring CEO Dr Martin Schreiber
- Greetings from Linde Mohr, President Australian German Welfare Society;
Mark Herrmann, Regional Head Temple Society Australia
- Farewell to Dr Schreiber and Welcome to Johannes Achilles by Hartmut
Weller, President TTHA Board of Management
- Musical Finale with the Bayswater South Primary School Choir, conducted by
Music-Teacher Anne Naismith and introduced by Mary-Anne Williams, Principal
Bayswater South PS.
- Followed by refreshments for all, served in the new Dr Schreiber Dining
Room.
The afternoon closed with a guided tour through the new TTHA Warrina
Complex, already partially occupied.
